Our large selection of houseplants are available year-round and depending on the time of the year you walk through our greenhouses you might find tulips, geraniums, a wide assortment of annuals and perennials, chrysanthemum's, Hardy mums, poinsettias or our large selection of Easter Lillies in the spring with many other gardener's favorites to select from!
A schedule of the timeframe and a sampling of the plants available are listed below. If you don't see your favorite plant please don't hesitate to ask. We might have that specific plant available--or will be able to get it. Whether it is a plant for your flower or vegetable garden, a Poinsettia plant--or the perfect Mother's Day gift that you are searching for you will find it in one of Sam Mazza's greenhouses.
As fall in Vermont arrives so does the large variety of fall plants available at Mazza's greehouse. Everything from chrysanthemums, in their vast array of colors and sizes. We plant 10,000 Hardy mums in various sizes--and a complete rainbow of colors to choose from. While you are at the farmstand you can also pick up pumpkins, Indian corn, various gourds and corn stalks for all your harvest decorating needs. As the Vermont winter starts to creep in, you can visit Mazza's greenhouses and see them filled with 10,000+ poinsettias as well as many other Christmas plants. We offer a large variety of poinsettias plants in various colors and sizes. These poinsettias plants are grown in our VT greenhouses and if you haven't walked through our greenhouses when they are in full bloom you have missed a special treat of color and smells! The following is a greenhouse schedule of our growing season. As the season progresses we will be able to give you more specific details on plant availability. Sam Mazza's state-of-the-art VT greenhouses cover over 100,000+ square feet of growing space and offer a steady parade of popular blooming plants throughout the year.
We are one of Vermont's premiere grower of annuals and perennials that are available in full bloom, ready to transplant into your landscape for instant color. We plant over 34,000 geraniums annually in many varieties, colors and sizes. In addition you will find over 8,000 hanging baskets in our VT greenhouses when planting season arrives. If you visit the perennial section of the greenhouse you will find a large variety of perennial plants for the garden. You will also enjoy a stroll through the many greenhouses filled with a large selection of annual and vegetable transplants. We also offer potted herbs available for your garden planting or eating pleasure.
